Hailing from the Bronx, 26 year old Renell Medrano is fast becoming a creative force to work with, both in front of, and behind the camera. Renell’s raw aesthetic saw her awarded the New York Times Lens Blog award before her graduation from Parson’s School of Design. That aesthetic has since become her trademark allowing her to shoot a wide range of subjects from reportage stories in her area to celebrity talent.
This is 3.1 Phillip Lim’s first collaboration with Renell Medrano. Renell shot her campaign in the Bronx, NY.
